Although several pages detail specific charities, this page - still under construction - avails to you the ability to click on and learn more about agencies with whom we are visibly connected, serving as their volunteers, as their board members, their donors, their friends......
For example, every year dozens of UN designated refugee families are re-settled in our neighborhoods. Displaced from their homes by political, religious, and ethnic strife, they are given an opportunity to begin life anew. We help them feel welcomed. We have opportunities to visit with them, as well as donate furnishings for their homes, and to become their American friends as they adjust to life in our nation.
